Kozhikode - Kappad - Vythiri - Cochin - Kumarakom - Alleppey - Kovalam

Day 1 : Arrive Kozhikode
On arrival at the airport you are transferred to your hotel. Afternoon begin your Spice Tour of Kerala with a half-day tour of Kozhikode City. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Kozhikode - Kappad
Morning drive to Kappad and check into the Beach Resort. Rest of the day is at leisure. You have the option of visiting Beypore, one of Kerala's oldest ports to watch craftsmen at work in the boat-building yard. Beypore is one of the ports from which spices, particularly pepper, were exported to the West. Stay overnight at the Resort.

Day 3 : Kappad - Vythiri
Morning drive to Vythiri and check into Vythiri Resorts, an Eco-friendly resort situated at Thamaressery Ghat. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the Resort.

Day 4 : In Vythiri
Full day is at leisure to enjoy the ecology and nature at its best. Stay overnight at the Resort.

Day 5 : Vythiri - Cochin
Morning drive to Cochin and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : In Cochin
Morning a half-day tour of Cochin City. Cochin, also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, is a famous port where spices were exported to the West, from ancient times. The spices exported included pepper, cardomom, cinnamon and cloves. Spice was used in Europe to preserve food during the long winter and to enchance its taste. You can see the port and spice warehouses in Cochin, on your Spice Tour of Kerala. The rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening witness a Kathakali Dance Show. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Cochin - Kumarakom
Morning drive to Kumarakom and check into your resort. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the environs. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : In Kumarakom
Full day is at leisure to enjoy nature. You have the options of visiting the Bird Sanctuary or visit a neighbouring village. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 : Kumarakom - Alleppey
Morning is at leisure. Afternoon board a House Boat and cruise through the scenic backwaters towards Alleppey. Stay overnight on Board.

Day 10 : Arrive Alleppey - Drive Kovalam
Morning on arrival in Alleppey you will drive to Kovalam and check into hotel/resort. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 11 : In Kovalam
Today embark on an excursion to Neyyar. Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 12 : In Kovalam
Morning a half-day tour of Trivandrum City and later visit Aruvikkara, a picturesque picnic spot and a pilgrim centre. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 : Kovalam - Trivandrum
Departure from the Trivandrum airport for your onward journey or way back home.
